The slides and tech tools are now available at the National office for the Jr Animal. The throttle cable cap Gasket,Briggs part number 555595 must be used. Slide is to be installed and cap tightened. Slide opening is to be set with a P drill blank or a new P drill bit shank (0.323"). Lift slide by throttle cable and insert drill blank under brow of slide tighten cap to close slide to contact drill blank. Lift slide and ck front of slide with round blank of tech tool (it must not pass under slide ( no go). Then use fork end of tool to ck rear of slide. Tool must stop before round part of tech tool touches front of carb. Using this method we can ck and set both front and rear of slide with out carb removal. Carb Cap may be tighten to lower slide. Also top of carb or top of slide may be sanded to bring slide opening into tolerance. Carb lock cap number 555726 must be used. All cars must be checked and set before Qualifying or first heat to be sure of legality. The locking cap is available thru engine builders or a Briggs Motor Sports dealer. If you have a jr animal this weekend and some do not have the locking cap and none are available at the track be sure to paint the cap to seal it.


Very Important Update for all Region 3 Races!

Article 4 , Section 2 , Paragraph 21 Sub paragraph c

21. C There shall be no less than 1" clearance between the top of the drivers’ helmet and the bottom of the top cage bars with the driver sitting straight up, three inches is suggested. The measurement will be made from the lowest bar on the halo to the top of the helmet. Driver must be in car at Safety Inspection and it must be checked off on the safety inspection sheet.
 
This will be strictly enforced, as well as all the rules printed in the 2011 Rule Book.

2011 Region 3 Tire Rule
Hoosier A34 or A40 tires on the right side are required at all 9 Region Races. Novice can run any tire of their choice.


 

 Region 3 Sponsors Needed!
We would like to offer you and your business the opportunity to become a sponsor of the QMA Region 3 Championship Series.  We are currently looking for sponsors for our 2011 year-end Banquet. We are looking for the following sponsorship. What a great way to advertise your race team or business.

  • Champion Sponsorship – This is a $100 sponsorship in either gift certificate or product. This will allow each championship driver to receive a $100 gift certificate or product.

  • Trophy Sponsors – This is a $250 sponsor and helps to purchase trophies for all Region 3 Drivers. Your name or business name will be located on each trophy for the selected class.

  • Door prizes – We like to make sure that each family and driver leaves with something; this can be anything from t-shirts, hats, koozies, gift cards, etc...
  • Presenting Sponsor – This $2,500 sponsorship helps to support our kids while helping to keep cost down for our families. As a presenting sponsor, your name will be placed on the top of the Region 3 website, announced throughout each race and place on the Region 3 Championship jackets that all drivers receive. 

    All sponsorships will entitle you or your business many levels of advertising; the Region 3 website, Region 3 Championship programs and announced throughout the banquet. Region 3 races in Huntsville, Georgia and Tennessee.

    If you choose to become a sponsor, your sponsorship will go towards providing our drivers with a great race season and memorable year-end awards banquet. We thank you in advance for your support of our children and families in Region 3.
