From the Tech Bench
By: Rusty Barnard

\The new UT-2 GX160 has been release for competition.  These motors have proven to be very compatiable with our current UT-1 160 engine.  Initial test showed the UT-2 to be down on power in the 4500 to 4800 RPM range, by changing the carb dump tube to our current dump tube it picks up the power in that range.  Track testing has shown the UT-2 to be very compatible with our current engines plus or mius a couple of hundredths.  Our goal was to have them equal to our current engines.

BEWARE! It has come to my attention there are some new in the package WF & Animal head gaskets that measure 0.041 thick.  This is our minimum spec.  Once these gaskets are used they almost certainly will be below minimum spec. These gaskets should not be used.
